Update on PHORM - possibly illegal?

Read the thread posted a few weeks ago on PHORM and noticed this earlier.

BBC NEWS | Technology | Phorm 'illegal' says policy group

I think it backs up what most Hexus users have been saying.

Nicholas Bohm, general counsel at Fipr, said: "The need for both parties to consent to interception in order for it to be lawful is an extremely basic principle within the legislation, and it cannot be lightly ignored or treated as a technicality."

Hopefully the ISP's will take note and realise that just because you are on the internet you do not abandon your rights on privacy.

Comments on ‘BT admits misleading customers over Phorm experiments’ | The Register

    found this funny as f**k

" "BT denied any testing and said customers whose DNS requests were being redirected must have a malware problem."

Well duh, of course I have a malware problem. You ****ers are selling me out to the Godfather of spyware.

Mines the one with "I'm with stoopid (Virgin Media)." on the back."
