Seem to have an issue with a website atm, where it's producing security errors but only on some people's installations.

It seems that some installs of IE7 are rejecting the security certificate but I can't see an error on the certificate.

Strange... I wonder why that'd be, the issuer is COMDO, afaik

IE7 on XP SP2 (fully patched and up to date)

The main page doesn't have any security information attached to it (Rightclick -> Properties -> Certificates)

This cert comes from PositiveSSL CA. Ah I see, you click the Issuer Statement and it redirects to COMDO.

Same here - IE7 accepts it fine but FF2 doesn't trust the cert issuer.

Digging deeper, IE has PositiveSSL as a trusted intermediate cert authority but FF doesn't have this cert bundled. AFAIK FF doesn't use Windows bundle of certs but uses it's own built in bundle of certs.

Your users will either need to accept and trust the cert or download the PositiveSSL root cert and import it. I guess this is what you get when you buy cheap certs that aren't natively supported by all apps.
