Help sharing media to PS3

Ok my network is as follows.
Router plugged straight into internet connection, no modem. #1 on router plugged into homeplug A, homeplug B connected to PC Gigabit LAN. PS3 connects to network via wifi. I cannot share any content between my PC and my PS3. The PC will find the PS3 via Media Player 11 but it will not connect or share any content. I have the PC and PS3 connecting via static IPs to the router. The router is a DLink DI 524.

PC Operating System would help, but generally you need to enable media sharing for WMP11 to share it's library, alternatively you can go looking for 3rd party UPnP AV servers.

I have Vista Home Premium and already have media sharing enabled. I also have Twonkyvision but that is not working either.

Firewall problem per-chance? Try disabling it temporarily for testing, don't really need one if you're behind a NAT router (most are these days) anyway.

I do not have any kind of software firewall setup at the moment, I just use the routers.

I think that the problem is due to my homeplug setup as they are part of my network but I have very little control over them. Do I effectively have 2 networks due to the homeplugs? My PS3 will not show uPNP as working after lots of fiddling, this makes no sense as my PS3's IP address is static from my router and is also in the DMZ as I could not see the point in forwarding ports to it.
I only have these IP addresses setup to work right now via my router

if ALL your machines are in the range 192.168.0.0, and connect to the same router, then no, you don't have 2 networks

what's with all the static IPs?

I was just making it easier, although I guess its not really any easier although its nice for the PS3 as it can then go into the DMZ.
