Hi I have vista ultimate edition and I'm having major dropouts with the wireless connection.
It lasts for minutes and then drops out and I have to flush DNS and renew again to get it back up.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

What wifi adapter are you using? What router are you using? Vista 32 or 64bit?
I've been using Vista for a long time now and wireless is rock solid. Are your adapters drivers the latest ones released with Vista support?
its the 32bit version, with a wireless card and at the moment I can't think of the name. I've updated the drivers and I'm using a netgear DG834GT. I don't know if it is to do with the old usb adapter I had in before I upgraded to the card but that used to drop out pretty badly aswell. I tend to get around 50-60% signal strength too.
Are you sure its not a problem with your router? If you've had two different wifi adapters in your PC and have the same problem then the router might be overheating and dropping the connection.
Does it drop out when being heavily used? Are any other PCs connected at the same time?
When I got vista I got many dropouts using a 2 year-old PCI wireless card. Went and bought a new one that was 'vista compatible' (even though the old one had drivers for vista etc, it never worked properly). New one has been fine on the whole, although I'm on the edge of the range I think.
