    Always a useful product

I know a fair few of you network up your houses - and some of you put sockets on the walls.

Anyway - I've recently run some new cabling and I didn't want to have multiple sockets - I wanted to do things like this

    Coax + Phono (B) + Phono (R) + RJ45

    or

    Sky (2 Nodes) + RJ45 (2 Nodes) + Aerial + Phone

Previously they would have taken 3 plates and 3 (maybe 4) plates

    Anyhow - I found this: http://www.letsautomate.com/11657.cfm?

Whilst it may look expensive when you price up 3 or 4 plates it actually works out reasonable...

$£&^*£ WHY couldn't you have posted this last week!?

I literally just put 6 faceplates into a wall, when I could have done it with 3 of those.

Exactly the same here - 2 weeks ago and this would have made things 10 times easier for me

Have just networked a bit more of our house

The only challenge is the cost of the ports - it can work out about 30 a socket fully loaded (Aerial/2xRJ45 and A N OTHER)

Thanks! I will be fully networking up the new house during renovation. Expect long, wearying questions on the subject soon!
