    File Sharing problems amonst others

We have a wireless/wired network running fin apart from file sharing which won't work, you can view the list of shared folders but not access them on any pc but the actual pc that is shareing them. The pcs are mostly windows XP but there is a windows ME laptop as well in the mix. Also remote desktop connection tells me i'm "unable to log you in due to account restriction" Both pcs have me set up as sole user with no password although one of them makes me log in still despite me ahving removed the guest account.

ANy ideas what may be causing the problems?

You'll need to either create accounts on all the machines for each user and set passwords, or re-enable guest access.
