    ADSL Errors.....

    Hey guys, just browsing around my router screen earlier for no reason... seems I have a lot of errors ( more than I used to when I first joined BE I think.. ) what do you guys think of this, look normal or something wrong??

    Your link has been up for 12 days without a retrain.

    The characteristics of your line can change through the day. Interference can come from phones, extension sockets, nearby electrical equipment (or just transient loads from hungry equipment like vacuum cleaners) and even stuff going on between you and the exchange.

    In essence if the errors aren't giving you packet loss or reduced bandwidth, don't worry about them.

    You could try resetting the router so it retrains - it might yield fewer errors, but until you notice some sort of problem, I'd say not to worry about it too much.
