    online gaming with mobile broadband?

    i have vodaphone 3g mobile broadband and im tied now to a 24 month contract, however i'm desperate to get my xbox 360 online and make the most of xbox live.
    is it possable to do online gaming through my mobile broadband?
    i have no hardline/bt line.

    Please help me!!!

    I dont know about anywhere else but around Cambridge, Pings are awful with 3g dongles.
    As in 400 ms minimum ping

    note that you don't really have that much of a download allowance if the offers from 3 and Virgin Media are anything to go by...

    Can you not get a wireless internet package installed at home or something?

    JAY i got xp, ICEBLADE like i say i'm tied to 24 month contract and can't justify paying two broadband bills.
    now i've followed some tutorials on youtube and i get an error saying the network did not assign a network address to the computer, when i click repair it says its renewing my ip address amd then says 'windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action could not be completed: renewing your ip address, for assistence contact the person who manages your network'
    what is going on guys?
