2 Linksys on one PPPoE line..?

    Hi
I have 2 Linksys routers, WRT300N and WRT160N being the main router. Can I use WRT160N upstairs(thats where the PPPoE line is) and have the WRT300N downstairs? through bridging or whatever method? In which the WRT300N kind off works like a network extendor and a router...

Do you mean use the WRT160N as a router and just use the WRT300N as a switch?

What do you mean by a switch?
Yeah use the WRT160N as a router and the WRT300N as a router too but downstairs and uses the same PPPoE connection not by the ethernet port but wirelessly connected to the WRT160N.
If it's not possible, can I use an ethernet port to do so?

if they can do wireless bridge mode then yes you can do this via wireless if not you need to run a cable from one of the ports on the WRT160N to one of the ports on the back of the WRT300N. Make sure that you setup a static IP with the WRT300N and turn off the WRT300N's DHCP.

Yea they can do wireless bridge. So i'd run my WRT300N in bridge mode, static IP and turn off DHCP..sounds easy
    Great, thanks for your help!
i'll try it out when I get a new 12V power supply for my WRT300N since thats the reason I got a new router but didn't know it only
after I got the new router...-_-
