    Port Forwarding on Netgear GS608

    Hi, I'm looking to get one of the above switches but need to know if it does port forwarding. It mentions 'store and forward' in the documentation but I'm not sure if this is the same thing.

    The only use of the switch will be to route IP phone traffic from an exterior-facing PIX to our phone system.

    It's an unmanaged switch - not a router or a firewall.

    Right, I get you. I thought that cos they looked like the ADSL modems they would have the same functions but without the modem. Ah well, the search continues...
