PS3 behind NAT (port forwarding)?

Hi, anyone experience problems with the PS3 disconnecting every so often..
I heard to need to forward the ports in the router config, is this true.. i have a belkin n1 vision adsl..

can this be done and how?

mine disconnects randomly. I put it down to PS network being overloaded.. in the same way that I can't connect to FIFA09 servers sometimes.

To get round any problems I had with my PS3 connecting, it's now in the router's DMZ zone so it can do whatever it wants, whenever it wants to

but my friends seem ok... i heard that i sometime need to put ur console in a dmz, but the xbox 360 has already occupied mine..

How about turning on upnp on your router?
