I am wondering if the following can be done.

One PC only, no router, PC connected directly to hi-speed cable modem. Running Win XP Home. Can the PC be used to serve as the router to allow internet acess to other devices? Can a USB device such as the DUB-1210 Wireless USB Adapter ( http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=0&pid=627 or a similar device) be plugged into the PC and serve as the acess point for connecting the XBox 360 to the internet? I have always used a router - but in this situation I seem to remember that Win XP will let you configure one PC to act as the host to pass IP addresses between it and other PCs in a home network of sorts.

The part I am really not sure on is whether a wirless USB Adapter can be used in this "backward" fashion (normally the USB wireless adapter will be connected to a PC and communicate with a router).
