    Hamachi problem

    HELP

    I want to play football manager 2009 online and i need to use hamachi to connect to servers
    and it brigs up a blue arrow when i connect... why is this?
    my broadband is a tmobile mobile broadband modem,,, i have reset my ip adress and everything on it... so what is the problem? can somebody help cheers

    hamanchi is a app that lets your game think its on a local network to bypass key validation, you could always buy a genuine copy

    Not necessarily - it creates a VPN tunnel between people on the network. I've not tried FM2009 as yet (though I hope to in the next few weeks) but if it's anything like the older FM games it can be a pain in the ass to get the connection to the server (which is just another user running the game, rather than something hosted by Sega) using port forwarding. Hamachi would actually make sense in this situation.

    Of course, that doesn't mean that the OP *isn't* using a cracked copy, but I'll assume innocent until proven guilty in this situation.

    As for the OP's problem I'm afraid I can't really help as I've not seen the game - do you get any error message? Have you tried submitting a ticket to Sega for this problem?
