    Serious Network Error!

    Hi
    Hope someone can help me.
I have had my network for awhile now and its all been working fine, but recently I have formatted my machine and it has seemed to stop working.
I have been playing LAN games over my network and they have been fine but after the formatt I haven't been able to play any.

My other machine (which hasn't been formatted) can't seem to get a connection. I can transfer files etc and print but when I go to play games my other machine all ways says connection timeout. Using SiS Sandras, Network/LAN Bandwidth module on my main machine it sees the network and tells me that it is running at 9mb/s but from my other machine it says "the host may be offline" when it blatently isn't. I am able to ping both the machines and I can't seem to work out whats going on!

Any help would be gratefully appreciated
    Thanks in advance

You connecting to a Net server or local lan server? If its local whats games you running? Some older games require IPX as a network protocol.

Sorry, I meant it can't get a connection to a local LAN server. I'm playing Vietcong: FA, Battlefield 1942 and Call Of Duty, pretty recent games
