    Needs a short-term broadband ISP

...for about 2 or 3 months.

Any suggestions, as most seem to want to lock you in for 12 months...

    Ta.

PlusNet offers a monthly contract but I would not recommend for any more than a couple of months.

Hmm, my parents use Zen in their cottage when they are there, month by month contract and my dad seems quite happy with them (which is high praise really)

I hear Be are supposed to be good. As previously mentioned, there's no lengthy contract AFAIK.

Re: Needs a short-term broadband ISP

When I needed broadband for a month I used New Net. Service was excellent, speeds were really good and also excellent value.

I would certainly use them again, and definitely recommend them.

Re: Needs a short-term broadband ISP

Also depending on how much data you think you'll download, you could just get a mobile broadband dongle off ebay, buy a pay-as-you-go sim and use that for a month, then sell the dongle... might work out to be an easy option.

Re: Needs a short-term broadband ISP

He could say he only wants it for 3 months if he calls. I don't see why they wouldn't agree - it's still business.

True but you have too pay a connection fee of £40 which is a bit expensive.
