Intel PRO 2200bg crash problem

Dear forums users,

I have a problem with my recently bought intel pro 2200bg minipci wlan adapter. Everytime i activate the wlan adapter my xp crashes. than again in safe mode it works w/o a problem. ive checked the usual stuff like irq conflicts etc but still problems.

so i hope one of you has some good ideas for me

You checked out the Intel site for driver updates?

Can you try a different PCI slot?

It's a laptop miniPCI card IIRC?

Boot without it in, remove all traces of the card, install card, then use latest drivers.

its a laptop minipci adapter which is putted in only availible slot. the thing is that there is not a new driver availible yet .

in normal mode i disabled all other devices to be certain no conflict but that did not work. I wonder whats the diffrence between save / normal mode that causes my card to work / not work.

im afraid i have to wait till intel has a new driver.
