    Do you use OpenDNS?

Just wondering really. Switched over to OpenDNS from Be’s DNS servers last night. Mainly because Be’s DNS servers are notoriously unreliable.

    Re: Do you use OpenDNS?

I switched from O2 DNS servers (same as Be?) to OpenDNS due to problems and wouldn't go back.

    Re: Do you use OpenDNS?

Switches from VM to OpenDNS. Sometimes OpenDNS is slow. I don't know if it's VM filtering/proxying going wrong or if it's OpenDNS being slow.

    Re: Do you use OpenDNS?

Tried it, didn't like being routed to "their" Google, switched back.

o2 seem to have sorted their DNS out at last, so, so far, I wont be going back to OpenDNS

    Re: Do you use OpenDNS?

I tried it, it seemed slower than Zen's so no advantage. Tried it again recently instead of Vodafone's - again no advantage.

You know you can switch that off, right? It's only required for the content filtering.

    Re: Do you use OpenDNS?

I use it over Be's DNS, was only a test, never really had a problem with supplied ISPs DNS, still use it only because I cba switching back

Can't really tell which is quicker, fastpath really cuts the latency for pretty much everything.
