    Broadband in Kent

Im planning on moving to the staplehurst area in the next few months. I know a mate of mine lives there and with BT only gets bout half a meg. Im with VM now and get good download speeds. When i move any recommendations for isps? And how can i improve my dl speed when i get there? Have heard about bonding, but know nothing bout it.

www.samknows.com will give you a good idea of whats available in the area your moving too.

AFIAK "bonding" is having two (or more I guess) lines working together. So as an example, 2 phonelines with a Be* package on each one and using a router to link them together. Think the oldskool way was to use two routers, 2 network cards and do the trickiery on the PC. You'll be paying for two phonelines and two ADSL packages mind and bet the router (will need dual WAN I think) wont be cheap either. No doubt awesome if you can bond two 24Mb lines running at full whack together, but no sure many would bother on slower line(s). Never thought I'd say it, but if half a meg is the best ADSL can offer you, might be better off just staying with Virgin (assuming they have coverage).
