    ISP suggestions for Lincoln

So my flatmates and I are about to move into our new house come september and I've been looking at available ISP's to change too. Unfortunately it's not looking too good as I was hoping to move onto Be but they don't have an exchange in Lincoln. (Or at least in the area of my new house). Virgin is out of the question due to there being 6 torrent-competent flatmates using the line which would probably result in the largest fair use throttle ever.

At the moment I'm thinking I might just stay with BT and it's unlimited usage limit... Unless anyone has any good suggestions that I've overlooked. Other than the above 3 I've looked at Sky and Tiscali who both seem insuffiecent due to the usage limits.

Zen internet - not the cheapest but reliable - and true unlimited use (at £80/month or under £15/month between 6 of you if you really are heavy users - otherwise £35/month for 50Gb with a cost/Gb charge after that.

There dont seem to be many isps that i would consider worth moving too: samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SLLI

If i was you i would stick with BT, may not have the highest speed but they dont seem to mind how much you download and upload

Freedom2Surf (www.f2s.com) do an unlimited ADSL Broadband package for £16.63/month. Speeds are up to 16M/1M (ADSL2+) or 8M/448K (ADSL Max) depending what your line/exchange support.

I've been with them 5 years and am very happy. You get a static IP as standard, no blocked ports, happy for you to run server services from home and a UK based help line with REAL technicians on the end of the phone (no 16 year-olds reading from scripts) who give straight answers.

Others will tell you that F2S were bought by Pipex, and then Tiscali and now this week Carphone Warehouse, but I can honestly tell you the service has not changed in the 5 years I've been with them. I only hope that continues with the Carphone Warehouse buyout of Tiscali.

I'm not a particularly high user, so maybe do check with them upfront exactly what constitutes unlimited use.

If you a heavy used, think about a business package.

Demon so a 8192/784 package with no limits for 40+vat a month. One month I managed 531gb and no complaints.
