New wireless ADSL modem needed - Edimax AR 7084GA any good?

My son has borked my current wireless ADSL router; he pulled it down off the top my Welsh dresser by tugging on it's power cord and now doesn't turn on - smells like something fried itself inside

So I now need a new one.

Has anyone bought one of these?

Can't find any reviews or any user comments (which may mean it's OK), wondered if anyone else has had one and if they are ok, or should I spend a bit more?

I did also look at this:

But have seen a fairly luke warm PCpro review, and various user comments relating to it's overall flakyness, which have put me off.

I own some edimax equipment and it works fine. wireless pci card for my parents machine.
I assume their routers are decent as well.
btw second link doesmt work.
