is there a limit on how many computers can connect to a wireless router wirelessly?
most say they are 4 port routers but does that just concern the ethernet cable slots?
cheers

That DOES just refer to the wired ports; lots will say that they support up to 50 or even 250-odd connections, and technically they might, but you'd have to be mad to try it - wireless-wise, these are basically hubs, so I'd say realistically 15-20 machines per access point, top whack.Originally Posted by iMc
thats cool. all i want to do is wirelessly hook up around 5/6 computers in a house, for internet access + file sharing.
thanks
