    Zen Disconnects?

    Any of you guys using Zen, had any problems with random disconnects lately? (past few days only)

    For the first time EVER, I am being randomly disconnected, and have to rest the modem before it picks up again.

    As this as never happened before I'm wondereing if its my computer or not. If you guys/gals have been okay, tis prolly my poor ol' computer

    I'm with Zen. Over the last year I've had a few disconnects. Zen, each time I've phoned them, tell me there was nothing wrong with their service at that time and that it was likely to be BT carrying out maintenance at the local exchange.

    Not sure if I can swallow that one, but that's what they told me. But I really don't know. Haven't had any disconnects since about February.

    Its worth phoning Zen tech suppport - you wont be in a queu ( if you phone in bus. hours ) and you'll actually get through to someone who can help you (not at 50p/minute etc. ) and will give pretty straight answers !

    Cheers guys! I will phone them sometime. Just found it a bit odd, as I was previously using BT for about a year and a half, and I can't remember getting disconnected ever!

    I have heard their tech support is quite good, will ring them when I get a chance.

    i'm with BT when i'm at home and they cut me off occasionally, gets very annoying if i'm playing a game etc... one of my mates is with zen tho and he has no problems
