    Huawei E960 HSDPA Wireless Gateway

Hi, I'm thinking of signing up to a wireless broadband service provided by Optus who supply a Huawei E960 HSDPA Wireless Gateway modem as part of the deal. Has anyone had any experiance of a/ the service or b/ the modem, both good or bad?

Re: Huawei E960 HSDPA Wireless Gateway

Huawei seem to be the main maker of mobile modems. I use one (provided by Vodafone) and it works well, both on Windows OS and Linux - and I expect Mac as well. If it is USB based, the SIM card just slided in the end - some also have space for a micro SD card so it acts as a USB memory stick too!
