You laugh, but it shouldn't be that way. And given the glowing reviews O2/Be are getting, I am surprise to read that their bundled routers are crap (though I am glad that I have looked up). I'd imagine that the average O2/Be to only use what's been provided to them.

The routers are fantastic for internet use, video streaming etc.

It's only more complex connection models, like gaming, that they struggle with.

yea it shouldnt be but it is. the routers are rubbish even for basic internet browsing. what use has it go if it keeps disconnecting? Why can Be/o2 ship their internet with a netgear or an equivalent? Sky and Virgin media do it

Like i said before, when it freezes on you, You cant go online at all. Fantastic is such a questionable word mate. the bebox is far from it even for basic usage. maybe its OK for average usage but fantastic? far from it IMO mate.

In this day and age, gaming is quickly becoming a "basic" need for the internet (whether its you gaming online or your kids)so i would put gaming as part of the none complex things that you can use the internet for and bebox is rubbish for that as many here including me and you have experienced!

hahaha that is a complete false statement. The router overheats, has security flaws and has a terrible UI

    Mine doesn't.. *shrugs*

Seriously, apart from the gaming problem it is the best router I've tried for O2 internet stuff. Other routers lose connection, or don't provide as fast a connection. I expect the hardware isn't great, but it's well matched to the O2 peculiar broadcasting.
