just wondering if theres any free sites that let u send some files nothing major just looking to experiment
yousendit.com allows you to send large files to people for free. I think upto 2 GB.
fileflyer.com
you can buy very cheap web hosting... ebay?
Look for free webspace, they all provide FTP upload. Although many will state in the T&C that no archive use is allowed.
Your best bet is to just get a paid service. Or take the suggestions above

Does it have to be ftp ?
www.getdropbox.com is pretty good with 2Gb of storage for free
+1 for dropbox,
They give you +250MB for each invited person as well
The only solution is to find a cheap web hosting which has ftp access and then load something as HFS to download your files through a webgui. Do a search there were some offers posted in this forum, one particularly was 1 free year of hosting cant remember the name thought
