Ok, got my new router today and the setup was simple. However my d/l speed is slow, only 5500 Kbps where it was 8000kbps before with the O2 modem. I have gone from connecting to an extension to the main socket by the way. Any ideas?

1. Update the firmware from wwew.draytek.co.uk
2. Make sure the protocol is set to MPoA/1483 Bridged IP LLC
3. Make sure the modulation is set to ADSL2+
They default to ADSL.
I'm using one on a Cerberus networks connection which is a rebadged Be internet connection just like O2

Looks like my wiring is wonky somewhere. Went into the main socket last night and I was running at 11000 kbps. I will take out the wiring for the extension and see if that makes a difference. If not its the faceplate!

Sorry to double post but does anyone have a good suggestion for a resource to help me get to grips with my new 2820n? I have got the basics working but wouldn't mind doing some fine tuning!

The Draytek support pages - and the associated forums are good places to start (After Hexus of course! )
