What type of switch should i use.

I am not a networking specialist by birth. All i have to do is to estabilish a lan for a call center. In fact improve it from 20 to 35 computers. Plz let me know what type switch i should use as we have to run voip service also on it.

You are going to need a decent business grade switch, I would have a look at Cisco or if you don't have that kind of cash then a HP Procurve.

What software are you using for the VoIP service?

bear in mind also that if you're using VOIP phones you may need (and probably do need) PoE.

Consider cisco 3560 48 ports, a very decent switch, does everything you need it to do for the right money of course.
