So my D-Link DSL-2640B has died today, currently using the BeBox to post this..
I need a new adsl2+ modem router for use on Be.
Any comments on this? http://www.ebuyer.com/product/147199
I think that's as high as I can go with the budget though :/

the DG834(g) was meant to be a very good router as long as you could get a V4. V5 started using a newer chipset which reduced performance. there are a few threads on this if you go to the BeThere forum

I think I will batter the same drum as always - Draytek Draytek Draytek Draytek ......but on your budget you will not get a new one, but you can get a wireless 2800G for it - http://tr.im/FvHV
It may be 2nd hand, but I've only ever had 1 dead Draytek (Draytek Vs Lightening) in 4 years and I handle a lot of drayteks at my client's sites.

The 2800G has issues with my ISP.. the DG834Gv4 seems like a good choice though..
I would look for one which has decent cooling. Some routers tend to overheat with too much activity especially the slimline ones.
I've just had my D-Link 2740R delivered today so will be installing when I get home. All reviews I've seen are good and my last D-Link cable router was excellent.
The D-Link router has been performing perfectly for just over a year now.. before that I had the same model but got it replaced cause it died.. probably the best router I've ever had except from the dying bit :/
I'm currently trying to negotiate a price for the Draytek 2800G on ebay as I found a page explaining how to get round the isp problems (should they ever arise)
Admittedly the Draytek won't work on Zen (I think) and Be (Possibly)
Don't think they ever found out why...and now that there is the 2820 on the market it probably will never be fixed.
It's basically because the 2800 uses a different chipset (I think)

There is a workaround for it if you ring Be.. though I probably won't have to because I sync at about 4MB anyway :/
I have bought the Draytek 2800G second hand for £55.. will have to wait til it gets here
