Depends what you need line for but most common suggestion will be Be* or O2 especially if you have a mobile with them and http://www.quidco.com/o2-home-broadband/ quidco aswell cant go wrong

Yeah, I've seen the packages they do . Shame there's nothing in between the balue and premium. don't really want to be paying 20 quid a month

Re: which isp to go with?

    Just found beeband.co.uk - unlimited for £15 a month

EDIT: scrap that. goes up to £19.99 after 3 months

EDIT 2: Apparently I can get the pro service from freedom2surf.net. I've been with them before and know they're alright so I'll probably end up going with them come the middle of next month

EDIT 3: Just read some reviews. since the Tiscali takeover they're pants. The search continues...

Re: which isp to go with?

had a look at thinkbroadband.com. been looking at all the "little" companies as most of the comparison sites only give you packages from the biggies.

from what I can see pipex only do business broadband now.well, business based. I'm not in an Opal LLU exchange, anyway

Don't forget you might be better off combining it with phone/TV. Check out moneysavingexpert for a list of all the best deals.

I can also recommend Plusnet, but I'm on one of their old products which is no longer available which outside of peak times (4pm-12am) is unlimited.

have a quick look at Webtapestry, their none basic has no limit and I really mean no limit! Its £22.12 per month but there is no traffic shaping of any kind at any time of the day etc.

I have my Mum on them and they have been very good.

Re: which isp to go with?

Thanks for all the replies. I've looked at sky and I can't seem to add it onto my HD package. it keeps telling me it's not available on my phone line, I know the connect package is but there's no mention of that.

I'm really looking at something under £20 as my missus got the 2 year contract with aol and a "free" dell 1520 laptop. it's only a 10gb cap you see. I can use that in one day getting a game on steam
