    Homeplug set up query

    Simple and quick question.

Can I mix and match brands of Home plug network adaptors? And can I use more than 2 adaptors?

    Re: Homeplug set up query

Maybe although in theory they should.

I've found that Netgear and Solwise adaptors work together but not Solwise and NewLink. Haven't tried others but would suggest that it's a bit hit and miss.

I believe you can mix brands, but probably won't work quite as well - not sure if you can mix speeds though?

You can use more than one homeplug, I had 3 running in my house until recently and they just act as a hub.

I've also used Netgear and Solwise together and they were fine, never really compared speed between them to ones of the same make but I think so long as they meet the same standard they should be ok.
