Hi,
I currently have a Belkin N1 Wireless router set-up and have a PS3 that connects via wireless, and 2 PSP find the network no problem. However, my MSI 677 laptop has given me 2 years of problems and I could spend a day explaining what has been done to remedy the problem. In short I think the internal wireless adaptor is broken, it can see the router, the strength is 100% but the laptop just won't connect.
Anyway, as my laptop is currently connected via LAN and defeats the purpose of having the laptop I need to know if my choice in USB wireless adaptors are limited or can I use a 'G' or even a 'N' adaptor with a 'N1' router?
I understand the 'N1' is good for gaming and streaming HD content etc but for my laptop I only really want internet connection so if I got one of the cheaper adaptors i.e. a 'G' or 'N' will this work with the 'N1' router?
