Don't have the need to pay the extra. Why do you want homeplugs ? Range ? Security ?
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

    Re: homeplugs or wifi

Its a no brainer for me, i have used Homeplugs for around 2 years now and will never go wifi (unless on a laptop), however if really depends what you are intending to do with it.

I use homeplug for gaming and home media streaming without a single issue in the 2 years ive been using them,

There is the security aspect side of it to, your not going to get anyone hacking into you electricity wire although it's fairly unlikely that anyone will hack into your wifi unless you dont know what your doing

Also as mentioned also no need to worry about range or signal drops.

There is the cost element though, you would need to fork out roughly £30 - £40 for a set of home plugs, more (aprox £60) if you want to stream Hi-Def content as you would need the 200Mps units, Where as you can pick up a WiFi Dongle or PCI cards for around £10

IMO the Pro's of homeplug outweight the Pro's of WiFi by a fair bit, but again it depends what you intend you use it for.
