    Strange IP behaviour (DHCP) [fixed]

I've left this one alone for a long while now because it isn't really a problem but!

I have my w2k3 dhcp server reserve an ip address for this current computer(win7 64bit).. however, this computer will not use that reserved address.. it says it is using the dhcp server and the dns server entries in the status confirms this.
The address being used is part of the dhcp pool.. I'm confused.
release and renew does nothing to help.
I have tried deleting the reservation and adding it again but that doesn't help.
    I'm at a loss..

    Re: Strange IP behaviour (DHCP)

I'm an idiot, please ignore.. I typed the mac address 0000 instead of 0001.

    Lesson learned.
