    Belkin firewall

Had some issues with Red Dead Redemption so added the recommended ports to the router. Now am I right in thinking that if the boxes on the firewall page are un-ticked in the 'enable' column that the ports are closed?

Also if there are no enabled ticked boxes how do I get rid of the description and port info? Basically so it looks blank like it was before?

    Re: Belkin firewall

Can anyone tell me if the ports are now closed?? There is a column which has enable at the top and tick boxes under it. There are no ticks in them any more so does this mean they are closed? Also if they are closed why does the information in the other boxes stay there?

You could use something like this to do a portscan, it's not a guarantee that the ports are closed on the router but it will let you know if any are visible to the net: https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
