Help me get a new router please

Hey all, am wanting to upgrade my current Netgear WNR2000 to something with 'proper' N wireless (not draft) but more crucially Gigabit wired networking.
Cable only router, since it then goes off into my ADSL modem elsewhere in the house.
Budget is not #1 priority, and i'd appreciate any experience of what to recommend me.

    Thanks

Re: Help me get a new router please

Ok, thanks for that (sorry for the delay).
Can anyone recommend a reliable gigabit switch? From experience preferably.

I have browsed Scan and ebuyer and there are loads of gigabit switches on offer, however we all know that some switches, routers etc perform better than others and I am looking for something that wont buckle under heavy use.
    Cheers again

Re: Help me get a new router please

Just wanted to 'top-and-tail' this thread in case others search it....
I bought a Netgear GS605 from Scan, for a very reasonable £32 (of course inc delivery ).

    (My mini review here)

I've deactivated all DHCP / firewall etc on the router (all of this goes to another ADSL router at the wall, so i still have security etc), and just use it as a wireless access point.
It now fully works, and i can communicate between my desktop and NAS at gigabit speeds, and have seen transfer of large files increase from 10.5 MB/s to 45 MB/s, which I am confident that it's my hard drives which are now the bottleneck, not the network.
The other significant benefit to this, is that aside from just faster transfer speeds of files, since the network isnt swamped any more, I can still do things whilst transferring files (whereas before, it felt like walking through treacle).
