    Re: worried

Depends what the site was. If it was a well known shopping site, then you are probably OK.

It also depends on what the warning was and where it came from. Firefox (for example) flags up untrusted x509 certificates. They can be an indication of a dodgy site - more often than not it is a self signed certificate with no root certificate authority.

If it was from a Virgin Media installed app - then you need to look at the nature of the problem.

If it was an alert via e mail, advising you to click on a link - then be very very wary. Look at the e mail headers to see where it has come from.

Without actually posting the link, (for obvious reasons) what site was it? And what was the exact message you got?

    Re: worried

Ok - well, leaving aside your interest in Vampires (I'm more a Buffy man myself ) - I had a look at the site (I'm using a Linux based (machine) and it didn't come up with any warnings.

However there are some adverts on there which I suspect would definitely trigger some warnings, given the content, so that is probably what did it. I wouldn't worry too much.
