    Issues with BT internet

Recently I've been having some issues with my interwebs at home. Playing games online is generally impossible with the incredible lag i'm experiencing (general web surfing is relatively uninfected)
I contacted BT support earlier and told them about my tracert and ping results, to which the engineer replied that he knew nothing and that I needed to contact "dos" about the results the tracert gave. Can anybody shed any light on the issues I may have and any way i can convince BT that there is something wrong with my line. Pinging my router shouldn't display results like this and I doubt tracerts should take 14 hops, when people who live under a mile from me get 5.

you have an average of a 300 ping to your local exchange, i dare say its over subscribed. go back to bt with that log and see what they have to say.

Time to consider moving ISPs I fear. Have you had a look at Samknows to see if you have any Be/O2 loveliness
