Quick question about ISPs and LLU.

If a line is giving consistently poor connection (slow max speeds, plus flakey reliability) in a rural area, and 'SamKnows' shows that there is no Local Loop Unbundling in that area (so i presume it's BT equipment only inside the exchange), is there any benefit in moving from one ISP to another?
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

Can't see how anything's going to change unless you swap to cable/satellite/3G

If it is line sync speed and just on the edge then assuming you don't believe it is a copper issue then might be worth reviewing your router choice, especially something with margin controls. Billions are amongst the better ones for long lines.
