Have an opinion about Fibre broadband? BE want to know

I just got an email with a link to a survey from my ISP asking for my views about Fibre, and BE's early plans for its future service.

I suppose this is only of interest to current (or potential future) BE users, but i think very highly of them and they have been my ISP for a couple of years, so am happy to help them with some views.

If you feel the same, link to their survey here.

I got the email and filled it out. From what I gather FTTC from Be would come with more BT involvement than their ADSL2+ offering because they have to use their equipment and backhauls so we probably wouldn't get such a good unlimited product.

I feel very strongly in them being transparent, since (as far as I can tell) they have been with me so far (ie unlimited really being unlimited).
It doesnt matter if they offer a service with a 250GB cap per month, which i cant imagine hitting, the fact that I know it is there would bother me greatly and make me think twice about using iplayer etc.

I have suggested that they offer levels of service, with the top being truly unlimited data.

I agree completely, lots of people find it hard to understand but I also hate caps no matter how big because it makes you aware of every download and you don't really feel free to use it.
I think BT might be opening up their ducts so companies like Be should be able to install their own equipment with minimal BT reliance.

Yeah the main comment I added was transparency on any limits, and NO bloody traffic management even if that makes limits necessary.
