    NTL broadband increases

Its nice to see that they will put it up and keep the price the same but
I feel a bit hard done by.

150 Kbps goes up to 300 Kbps (100% increase)

600 Kbps goes up to 750 Kbps (25%)

1 Mbps goes up to 1.5 Mbps (50%)

25% seems rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe 800 Kbps would have made more sense. Although they did put up the 1 Mbps by £3

your maths is wrong! - its actually an increase of 25% for the 600k connection, i think its not as much as the others because they have already increased it from 512k a while ago, so from 512k (orginal speed) --> 750k (new speed) is an increase of approx. 47%

I myself am stuff between a rock and a hard place....

    I got 1 m connection....and its £10 more than the 600....

now I must pay a bit more again for 1.5m..which sounds like ace value, EXCEPT I might just save the £13 and drop to the 750 service.....

BUT....still only 128 upload....need my 256...gotta stick with the phattest pipe....

so there goes the extra money from my account

Sigh.....stuck between rock and hard place

I knew my maths was way wrong but i was too lazy to check.

The prices are still a rip off when considering I had 26 Mbps at my home in Japan
and that house is in a village. That cost me approx £20 then.

for the lowest which is 8 Mbps and lower its £16.72 (using todays rates)
for the highest ADSL which is 45 Mbps its £21.

Also you can get 100 Mbps fibre which was £25-30

doesnt it make you feel great to live in the uk.
