    ntl name servers?

    hey guys -
trrying to find out what ntl's client name servers are? i've transferred a domain for my g/f's mum - but she's getting confused about why she can't see it, so I'm wanting to check when their last zone refresh was (it was updated on telewest's zone servers on Friday)

Angry omg - this is hilarious

talking to a "level 2" support "engineer" at ntl -trying to explain to them how DNS works (and this is the woman in charge of DNS) who inisists that a cookie is preventing me from accessing the new server.
She's utterly convinced that a zone refresh will not work, so she's refusing to request one!
She's trying to put me through to her supervisor so I can try and get a straight answer out of them.

thanks for that guys - that's what it should be...
talked to a senior support dude, who happily and quite cheerfully admitted that his internal servers could see it fine, however client facing ones couldn't until a zone refresh was done!

Looks like that's been done now - they crack me up! When I had a similar thing happen last year, I called telewest and said "can I have a zone refresh please" - to which the response was, "no problem - I'll authorize that now, and it will be done in 20 minutes"... ntl... "no, it'll be done when we think there are enough changes" i.e. 72 hours after the changes went live!!

    Cheers for that guys!

    Scotty
