I was listening to a friend talking about ACTA, some treaty where governments essentially control ISPs and therefore the Internet in countries in which it's established. Also I heard this protects the people enforcing it from any other laws so they can come and take your computer for a 'random security check' for no reason. I mean I have strong opinions about piracy and have nothing pirated on my computers but the way it was told it certainly sounds scary - I may not have anything pirated or illegal on my PC but I still wouldn't want someone forcefully taking it for no reason. Have I heard an over-hyped version or is it really this scary? Sorry if this is old but I've not come across it before.
