Vista - Windows 7 Networking Problems

    Evening all...

I've had this before but simply ignored it, so hardly a super urgent theory...

Vista does not let me access other PCs on my network (Win 7): It displays them on the network map but (even though they're 'shared') doesn't let me access them and displays this message when i try:

\\PCNAME is not accessible. You might not have permission... Contact administrator.... Login faikure: User account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions....
    Anyone got any ideas?

Have you shared any files on the Win 7 PC? Is the guest account enabled?

Same workgroup/ Homegroup? on each machine
Network discovery enabled on both machines?

Firewall exception for file and print sharing open too?
