    Wireless Router Just Died!!!

    After about 6 years of good service my wrt54gs has stopped recognizing my internet input and after a couple of hours of reflashing the firmware, and resetting the router it seems it is broke. (Yes, I have confirmed the internet is working normally)
    So I am looking to buy a new wireless router hopefully tomorrow. My budget is ruffly around £100.
    So far I have seen a linksys E3000 and a Netgear 3700.
    I need it primarily for the wireless connection, I only have a single networked pc which wouldn't benefit from a gigabit connection and I don't need any usb devices for sharing etc... The distance of the pc's to the wireless is very small as well (maybe 5-10m).
    So out of these two which is the best wireless performer and more inmportantly the most reliable?
    Or if there is another (preferably cheaper) option I could be looking at which will provide similar wireless performance which I should be looking at?
    Any input would be helpful... thanks...

    Linksys 320N I got on well with. I managed to get it for £40 when Dabs mispriced it one day, then it went back to around £80, but it gets good reviews and I think you can put DDWRT on it too if it floats your boat.

    Just outside your budget, but if you can stretch the extra £15 - have a look at the Draytek Vigor 2710N. Around £115 with a bit of careful shopping around.

    It's worth noting that Draytek's:

    * Come with 2 year warranties.
    * They're well respected routers

    Re: Wireless Router Just Died!!!

    Well actually I was in a hurry to get a new router as my main pc is wireless so I needed the internet. Ended up going for the WNDR3700 netgear. So far so good.
