    Vm

basically i have VM cable and the point were it comes into my house is in my bedroom(i think xD) and i have my computer etc etc in my room but the router is in the living room as this is were it goes too. i have bought a dongle for my PC it works ok ish but is a bit patchy when gaming which isnt fun getting shot because of an interference or whatever occurs. i might get a TV in my room too which would mean i need a cable to be able to watch the "normal channels"

basically i was wondering how easy it would be to put a splitter into this box thats in my room and then just have some cable go to my PC/TV. Also would i need a different card or another router to be able to use the cable on my PC. if this is so then what kind of splitter/cables would be needed.

sorry for the whole essay i just thought it would be easier to explain my situation as i have no knowledge of cable BB

I just got them to move it, it was £25 I think. If you are getting a new box upstairs they will need to run a new cable anyway so get them to move the modem then.
