I've been waiting for this for ages - not much point working on LAN cards IMHO as ethernet is so fast compared to broadband anyway, but wireless is an area I think should be improvable. Now they just need to make a desktop version...
like usual i have my skeptic hat on but these could make a bit of a difference.

It's not bandwidth or packet loss that's the problem, it's latency which (as long as it's reasonably consistent) doesn't effect either of the above mentioned tasks.

I like the nice vauge marketing comment, that their wireless N adaptor is 5 times faster than standard adaptors. Probably comparing it to a type B one

but with wireless its not the speed that matters, its stability as thats what criples it in games
our boiler broke so we has no heating or hot water, this is the bloody result ^^
