Not to mention that the sites worked previously and stopped working in the last couple of weeks.
On BePro, ip starts 78.105 and that site is working fine for me. I'm pretty certain that the earlier routing issues are all cleared up, so it's back to looking at your specific setup I think.

Try rebooting your router, if you haven't already.

I'm on BeThere and that site works fine for me.

    Change your DNS to OpenDNS?

I'd also recommend using OpenDNS if you aren't already.

There's a guide here on how to set it directly in the router via telnet, you'll only need to repeat this after a firmware flash.

    http://www.beusergroup.co.uk/technot...?title=DNS_CLI

If you have the 585v7 router also make sure you're running the 8.2.7.7 firmware, it helped stabilise my connection and the UI is a lot faster

Re: BeThere - Some sites failing

I also just wanted to chip in (24 hours late) to add that my Be connection was being fussy with a number of connections yesterday, which seemed to become resolved sometime in the afternoon.
For example, I open up 16 tabs simultaneously for various (mostly UK) car websites/magazines, and whilst 10 of them connected as normal, 3 of them were slow and a further 3 refused to connect at all.
It's pretty much the first time there has been an issue using Be for me in 2 years, that i've seen.
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

Re: BeThere - Some sites failing

Well, the issue is still occuring; can't reach any 78.xxx.xxx.xxx block except for the default gateway. Is there anything we could have done to our router to cause this??

Re: BeThere - Some sites failing

Well, looks like they've managed to generate a whole new problem now!

    http://beusergroup.co.uk/index.php?id=615

That said, I will be updating our work connection to GoogleDNS in the morning, just on the off chance this is the reason a block of sites weren't loading, as I still got name server responses for the RIFT servers...

Re: BeThere - Some sites failing

Just to update this, of all the things it turned out someone had changed the subnet mask to the wrong setting, we had 255.0.0.0 instead of 255.255.248.0!
