    NTL Outage?

No internet at home, modem off got half an hour and still nothing.
Can't even get onto the status page lol...
If anyone can get on, or is on the Loughborough area and connected to NTL (via shepshed) can someone see if there's anything listed fault wise, effecting me and at least one other person on my road...

    Re: NTL Outage?

Hmm status page won't load for me, will try again later.

I've had a similar problem a few times over the years, modem loses connection for no apparent reason and TV usually goes with it, just like you pulled the coax. VM support usually tell you the normal troubleshooting crap and tell you there's no reported problem in the area. They normally offer you an engineer in a few days time, you might be able to get to next day if you go to the retentions dept but TBH I can't think of a time the connection hasn't self-righted soon after I call. Still best to tell the engineer about what's happened and let him check the line.
