Bah. Not in my area.
Must be their re-selling of the BT Infinity.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
That is clearly not Fibre, but Fibre to the cabinet, I have to admit I am getting really sick of companies claiming this is fibre... Great you have updated YOUR network... so what its still xDSL to my house. As to virgin... don't get me started.

Their "How it works" page clearly shows the last part is copper. It's hardly misleading.

VM is a HFC, and this would be a HFxDSL. If current usage is that HFC='Fibre' then wouldn't this also qualify ?
I'm not aware of anyone running fibre to the kerb, let alone to the home.

Or possibly Atari.
Just because VM has got away with miss using a term does not make it right. VM have no right to call there service Fibre either. However they have been saying "Fibre Network" a lot more, which is probably ok I guess.

Just another term that 'Marketing' have got their hands on. Like the Borg, resistance is futile.

Looks like it's resold inifity to me. Still better than adsl.
What are they going to call it when fibre to your actual home comes out...
Fibre Extreme XT
Just looked and I should be able to get the full speed with this, just trying to decide between Plusnet and BT infinity. 120Gb on plusnet should be more than enough cap wise.
Seeing as PlusNet is a wholly owned by the BT group it is no doubt going to be a resold BT infinity product.
Question is what speeds can one expect. I was on a Plusnet ADSL line a year ago and speeds were severely throttled - Torrent speeds were shambolic!
£21.50 a month for 120GB? rip off really :/
