    Netgear Wireless Monitor problem

    Hi,

I've had wired internet for the last 3 years but I've just moved and it's not feasible right now so I've got a Netgear N300 Wireless USB Adapter and have just installed the software. Internet is working fine, but the thing is, the Wireless Monitor is constantly on the taskbar (not the bit next to the time, actually as though it's an open program) and every 10 seconds it vanishes for a fraction of a second then reappears, but when it does, it makes that the current program (nothing appears, there's no window open for it or anything). This means that when I'm typing or something like I am now, every time it reloads, my current window is deselected and I can't continue typing or whatever!! Very annoying! I installed that from the CD and it did it, so restarted and still did it, uninstalled/reinstalled a few times and it still did it. Got newer drivers from the Netgear website and still doing it...and right this second it's just come up "WLanCfgG.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close etc." What's going on?? Google search doesn't seem to come up with anything.

    Cheers
